The Maguindanao killings was referred to as the “largest single massacre of journalists ever,” according to Paris-based Reporters Without Borders.
At least ten journalists were reportedly killed during the incident. These journalists and some crews were only there covering the supposed filing of candidacy of a vice mayor who wish to run for the gubernatorial post.
Journalists in various parts of the world condemned what seem to be heinous crime with incomprehensible logic.
