Will they give the woman a seat?

Will they give Maki a seat?

Maki Pulido of GMA 7 resigned from her illustrious work in favor of her congressional bid for the 1st District of Pangasinan.

She is the only woman contender among the 4 or so aspirants. She can talk all day, since she is a journalist. She is, perhaps the most articulate candidate among them all.

But will the people of the 1st District want her to represent them really?

okay. intelligence given.

She must have had fellow journalists from the province of Pangasinan mesmerized by her wit, charm and popularity. Her ‘ibang levelness.’

But the killer question is, will she– the sole woman in the house– be given a seat in the Lower House comes 2010?

Knowing what to say and do with our helpless and hopeless? country is one thing. Transforming that knowledge into a seat in the Lower House is another thing.

We see that with Maki’s great, great plans ahead, she will be busy being a congresswoman. But how does she get there?

Her parents are not as articulate as she is. I think its because they are giving Maki her moment but one can’t help but think about the criminal and administrative cases filed against her parents.

Those cases, although in proper forum already canno simply be ignored. There is an issue saying that because the parents have messed their names so bad that Maki has no choice but to redeem their integrity and reputation.

She said during a presscon that she’s proud of her parents. That she finds nothing wrong with what they have done. That they’re just victims of dirty politics of harsh politicking.

Hello, how about the evidences that prove they really did something fishy ?
